**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

**IS Administration of PowerBI Workspace**
- Track the monitoring alerts, investigate the issue, and raise an incident if appropriate.
- Notify the Support Supervisor of incidents, user impact and estimated time to resolve.
- Ensure data workspace governance including row-level security.

**Data Development and Management**
- Develop and maintain BI solutions within Microsoft Fabric, using Data Lake, Dataverse, and Pipelines.
- Build and optimize Dataflows and manage semantic models, integrate data from multiple sources using Power Query, SQL, and Python within the Fabric ecosystem.
- Utilize Git for source control and Azure DevOps for deployment pipelines and version tracking of Power BI and Fabric artifacts.

**Data Analysis & Power BI Reporting**
- Translate business requirements and maintainable technical specifications.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Ensure performance optimization and effective user experience in reports and datasets.

**Data Quality**
- Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Document and maintain data definitions, metrics, and business logic across datasets.

**Collaboration**
- Work alongside teams within the business or management to establish business needs and define new data collection and analysis processes.
- Provide training and guidance to business users on data access and report usage.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics
- 3+ years as a data analyst or similar role
- Can Work and Communicate Well in English, spoken and written.
- Experience in a construction-related business is ideal.
- Experience in an international company within mid-to-large enterprise environments is a plus.

**ITS skills**:

- Quantitative Analysis: A strong foundation in statistical methods, probability, and mathematical modeling is crucial. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and performing predictive analytics.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, or R, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Power BI, Lakehouse, Pipelines, and Dataflows Gen2 is necessary.
- You should also understand database management and be adept at using spreadsheets or specialized software.
- Power Query and DAX: Proficiency in using Power Query and writing expressions using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) is important for manipulating and analyzing data within PowerBI.
- Data Quality Assessment: You need to know how to assess data quality and understand data security, including row-level security and data sensitivity.

**Other technical skills**:

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for explaining complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills will help you tackle the challenges that come with interpreting data and turning it into actionable insights.
- Interpersonal Skills: As you will be working closely with business teams, good customer service and interpersonal skills are important for collaboration and understanding of business needs.
