Work ExperienceA minimum of two years of experience in translation and use of standard computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and relevant language technologies, such as eLuna, or similar tools, within United Nations or similar international organization is required.
A proven experience in translating on a self-revision basis is desirable.
Experience in the United Nations Common System or international organizations is desirable.
Excellent knowledge of English (as assessed in the relevant Competitive examination) is required.
Knowledge of one other official language (also as assessed in the relevant Competitive Examination) is also required.
AssessmentQualified applicants may be evaluated through a competency-based interview and/or other assessment methods.
