Head of It

PRTR’s IT team is looking for a talented Head of IT to join one of our local clients based in Bangkok. You’ll be expected to initiate and drive core strategic changes to IT processes, select and implement new IT improvements and lead all aspects of IT management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
- Identifying, comparing, selecting, and implementing technology solutions to meet current and future needs.
- Developing, tracking, and controlling the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
- Managing and optimizing infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets.
- Creating overall technology standards and practices and ensuring adherence.
- Consolidating our technology platforms and creating plans for each.
- Tracking, analyzing, and monitoring technology performance metrics.
- Overseeing all system design and changes in system architecture.
- Keeping abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
- Taking the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
- Working closely with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements.

**Qualifications**:

- MA in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development.
- Hands on experience with complex project management.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.
