- As Senior Backend Developer, your main responsibility is to design and build solid backend systems that can scale using the best practices. You are able to produce solution designs by yourself, can explain them to your peers and can translate them into clean code. You like to improve the code quality of backend systems, when you see code that could be improve, you communicate about it with your team and refactor it when time allows it. You also like to spend your spare time reviewing peers’ code and help them getting better.

**Report to**: Engineering Lead

**What you will do**
- Estimate, design, develop and deliver features assigned to your team
- Fix issues and add unit or integration tests to solidify your changes
- Be a strong contributor to the backend team, through objectives and workshops
- Be a strong contributor to the project team and develop additional skills for the role
- Consult and provide solutions to support the project teams decision
- Help improve processes and automation to solve the Backend team's pain points
- Able to design and improve projects in terms of quality, speed, and maintainability
- Take on POC tasks
- Review pull requests, comment and help your peers to improve
- Able to work with the squad to achieve goals and meet the client’s expectations

**What you will need**
- Proficient with NodeJS and Typescript
- Perfect understanding of OOP and when to use it
- Strong experience with unit and integration testing
- Strong knowledge around architecture patterns and best practices
- Strong understanding and experience on CI/CD
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quality-oriented mindset, attention to details
- Good team-player mindset
- Have a growth mindset, failure is just a part of success
- Have the ability to explain your thoughts to technical / non-tech people

**Who you are**
- Fluent in Thai language and English intermediate/advanced level
- 5+ years of work experience in software development
