Safety Officer - Smart District Cooling System

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Officer to join our team at Vinarco on the Smart District Cooling System project in Bangkok. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures that align with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide comprehensive safety training and orientation for all new employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for various construction activities.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness among all staff through regular safety meetings and training sessions.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a safety role within the construction or EPC sector.
• Professional certifications such as Jor Por Certificate, or equivalent, are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Proficient in safety management software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Location: Suanluang-Samyan, Bangkok
• Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 48 hours per week
• Project Duration: 11 months

The estimated salary range for this position is 60,000 to 70,000 THB (Thai Baht) per month, inclusive of benefits, which will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
