Finally, you should be committed to continuous learning and professional development. This may involve attending conferences or workshops, participating in online courses, or collaborating with other teachers and professionals in the field to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach Computer Science to students for KS4 to KS5
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenged students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Create and maintain a positive learning environment that promotes active student participation
- Use a range of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Participate in the development of the Computer Science curriculum
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, school events and parent engagement

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Computer Science or Information Technology in a British curriculum school
- Create projects designed to enhance classroom activities.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scratch and Java
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science
