- Our client is an investment holding company that has built a reputation for excellence by fostering synergistic growth with its diverse portfolio of ventures. As a leading player in the market, the company excels in strategic execution and visionary leadership, backed by extensive industry and government relationships. We are looking for a VP - Investment to play a vital role in shaping the future of investment in Southeast Asia.**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct intensive research of investment opportunities in the energy, infrastructure, and logistics sectors; including green field project development, M&A, and organic growth opportunities
- Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee with written and oral presentations
- Coordinate the execution of investments, working closely with internal and external stakeholders

**Key tasks include**:

- Execute and manage buy side investments and sell side offerings; draft logistics management plans, present analysis and resolution of any potential issues
- Research and identify new business opportunities with financial analyses and investment plans
- Participate in due diligence meetings with stakeholders and generate reports to management
- Analyse and screen investment opportunities and conduct financial modeling
- Draft preliminary and final investment recommendation memos for the Investment Committee
- Manage relationships with the investment and finance community and stay abreast of market developments
- Help train and mentor junior staff
- Monitor the performance and risk of existing investments by providing quarterly updates and drafting budgets for each company or project
- Conduct industry research to support sourcing, diligence, and investment monitoring.
- Provide portfolio updates and present investment advice to shareholders, board of directors, & senior management
- Help draft presentation materials and review presentations and financial analysis produced by third parties

คุณสมบัติ
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or equivalent; MBA preferred
- 5-6 years of experience with a leading global strategy consulting firm, preferably with relevant work experience such as due diligence & deal structuring; or 5-6 years of experience with a well-established global investment bank; or 3-4 years of experience with a reputable global private equity firm at the Senior Associate or VP level, with strong private equity investment track record
- Experience in cross-border infrastructure project financing and development a plus
- Outstanding investment analytical skills
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Familiarity with market intelligence platforms (Capital IQ, ThomsonOne, Bloomberg)
- Creative thinker, willing to challenge preconceptions
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and work with different organisations and cultures
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proven communication skills in presentations to shareholders, senior management, and board of directors
- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
- Excellent time, people, and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a regional team
