Attractive opportunity for Thai Local - Sriracha based role

PanAust Limited is an Australian-headquartered copper and gold producer in Laos, with pre-development and exploration assets in Laos, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea (PNG). The Company is focused on a sustainable business model associated with the production and sale of copper and gold, delivery of production goals and growth.

Phu Bia Mining’s producing assets are the Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation and the Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver Operation, both located in the Company’s 2,600 square-kilometre. The company has a Mineral Exploration and Production Agreement (MEPA) with the Government of Laos which regulated exploration, development and mining activities within the Contract Area, and sets out the Company’s tax and royalty obligations.

This role is reporting to the Port Team Leader. The key objective of the Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment (FEL) to stockpile copper concentrate at the PBM copper concentrate storage shed(s) and to load product into bins for loading to export vessels at the port of Sriracha, Thailand.

**Responsibilities**:
Driving CAT 966H and other equipment as per are superintendent / supervisor instructions.
Maintain the Sriracha copper concentrate storage sheds to optimum capacity.
Assist unloading activities by pushing up product into the stockpile.
Load copper concentrate into transport bins for export operations.
Comply with PBM safety standards.
Reporting hazards and any problems to the supervisor.

Skills and experience

Driving licence for Heavy equipment - class 2-4 advantageous
Experience working in Mining industry, equipment operation is desirable.
Minimum 2 years previous working experience in driving heavy equipment CAT or KOMATSU would be desirable.
