Human by nature.- Every discovery you make, shapes joyful memories for millions.- As the Account Manager based in Bangkok, Thailand you will be the strategic partner to food and beverage companies and together with local marketing and technical teams in co-developing consumer-preferred solutions in our dynamic space with offerings spanning from classical flavours to taste solutions to kitchen ingredients to functional and nutritional ingredients and solutions.- You will achieve our team goals and budgets by ensuring a through strategy and account development plans and their execution in the market place in the processed meat, beverages and dairy flavour categories.- You will report to the Senior Account Manager.- Your role will include:- Account management for our customers in the processed meat, beverages and dairy categories
- Create a broad base of new business opportunities
- Develop comprehensive ADPs for accounts managed
- Develop understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition
- Ensure Givaudan is well positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core lists
- Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with FC&A
- Ensure visibility and exposure for Givaudan at account by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with important product demonstrations and technical to technical interface
- Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans
- Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch
- Defend base business in Thai market and with the customers
- Lead negotiation of pricing agreements observing company guidelines
- Deliver budgeted sales and gross profit results within local sales territory- You?- Want to work for a team that touches the lives of millions of consumers more than twenty times a day? It's your essence we're looking for.- Your professional profile includes:- University degree in Food Technology, Economy or Marketing / Business Administration with at least 5 years of experience in Sales, Research and Development or both with experience having handled savoury or processed meat flavour categories from a food ingredient industry or flavour house
- In-depth knowledge of the customer, strategies, programs, commercial needs and product launch processes, knowledge of competitor activity
- Experience of building relationships with important decision-makers on the customer side which includes being customer-focused and a desire to produce business returns for accounts managed
- Team player, experienced in working across multiple teams in a global matrix environment
- Experience setting the right account plans and negotiate well with customers
- Experience incorporating comprehensive knowledge and analysis into ADPs
