- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks in guest rooms, ensuring all furniture, fixtures, and fittings are in excellent condition.
- Repair and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures throughout the resort.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become significant problems.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Assist with refurbishment projects and other carpentry-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
