Live Your Adventure
The Vertical Adventure Manager is a key role within Progression Vertical and works closely with management of all other company divisions. The Vertical Adventure Manager is accountable for managing the Progression Vertical Climbing Gym, outdoor rock climbing, caving, and technical outdoor training services. Creating a vibrant community of outdoor community through the services that we offer. They will manage this section and promote this for all types of people.
We are seeking a passionate and energetic professional that is interested in joining a vibrant and diverse outdoor community and brings a sense of adventure to their work. Build environment for customers to fuel their progression, deliver innovative experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the climbing gym and outdoor experiences to run efficiently and safely including but not limited to sales of memberships and services, curriculum designing, rules & regulations, membership policies, staffing, maintenance, social media, and other items as they arise.
- Work with the CEO to develop and implement targets and objectives, including marketing strategies to promote Progression Vertical services.
- Monitor and analyse memberships, customer trends, customer feedback and other data to develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Create, manage, and deliver innovative services and products to meet the needs of customers as they arise (i.e.: birthday parties, corporate events, community events etc).
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and ensure the use and maintenance of internal systems such as the membership database, booking and registration systems, and payment collection systems.
- Coordinate with technical manager to provide trainings for staff to receive all necessary certifications and qualifications.
- 3+ years’ experience working in a climbing gym, outdoor guided experiences or fitness based environment in Asia.
- Personal or professional experience with rock climbing, caving, trekking, and orienteering and other vertical outdoor pursuits.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple project
