**Purpose of the Role**
As a Zipmex UX/UI designer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Zipmex’s websites and mobile apps are a top tier experience. You will rethink UX flows, put together new designs for our website and mobile app, and design new features, working closely with the product and engineering teams.
This job will require you to work across UX and UI, across web and mobile, and with different engineering teams on large and small projects.
**As a UX/UI Designer, you will:
- Conducting user research through interviews, usability testing and data analysis
- Capture user problems to develop novel product solutions
- Create user flows and wireframes that simplify user interactions
- Visually communicate prototypes for user testing
- Work across teams to triage and ship bang for buck solutions
**Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as an UX/UI designer
- Portfolio to demonstrate relevant experience in product thinking
- Experience designing for the web and mobile, and familiar with web and mobile design standards and systems
- Proficient in Figma and other standard design software
- Fast learning and effective communication
- Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail oriented, and delivering results in an organized manner
- You are open-minded, curious and a strong problem solver
- Ready to take on new initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
