Custodial Supervisor

This position provides an environment where patrons can have a positive and uplifting experience each time they come to the temple by ensuring the temple reflects the beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature of the temple experience. This role reports to the Temple Facilities Manager.
- Supervise a team of Custodians by creating and providing training, schedule work arrangements, assisting in performance management, and assigning of tasks
- Make decisions under direction of the manager on proper equipment, techniques, chemicals, and maintenance of Church buildings
- Monitor physical condition of all areas and report any necessary repairs and maintenance
- Initiate orders for custodial supplies
- Perform custodial work including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping; cleaning restrooms, carpets, and upholstery; and washing windows
- Member of the Church with a current Temple Recommend
- 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience preferred, with 1 - 2 years of supervisory experience. Less experience will be considered as Custodian
- Knowledge of custodial maintenance, including custodial supplies and cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs./23kgs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective communicator, results-driven, detail-minded, organized and capable to work under tight timeline under time pressure while delivering meaningful results
- Self-starter who embraces personal accountability
- Fluent in English and Thai, written and oral
