- The Commis is expected to be part of the daily effort to achieve the succesful operations of their assigned sections & team. Performing daily tasks assigned with openness, diligence and consistent effort.- Working with their senior chefs, the Commis must strive to learn, reach and maintain the standards they are tasked to reach.- Actively delivering their best efforts and ask for guidance, when and if needed, to the best of their abilities.- The Commis is expected to maintain their best efforts to adopt to new techniques and recipes, as well as new standards set by leadership. The Commis adheres to learning and growing in their culinary skills as they learn from the senior chefs.- Maintain a clear overview of their section, preparation & recipes, in terms of mise en place, and service needs. Assist fellow jr. team members in their section to the best of their ability.- As JR. team members, attendance to relevant team trainings is expected to fascilitate & ensure personal as well as team growth.- Responding to tasks and needs set by leaders for their section related to all ingredient & utilization efforts. Complying with all cost control efforts & “no-food-waste” procedures is a must.- Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Proactively learn and maintain all standards of recipes & service of such, across their assigned section, as set forth by the leadership.- 2. Respond openly to leadership corrections and constructive feedback to develop own skills & procedures.- 3. Adhere to the set hygiene control levels of all areas of their sections, from receiving, preparation & needed equipment.- 4. Comply with various tasks given in support of monthly inventory procedures and submission of cost of goods to accounting.- 5. Ensure their own continuous recording of their tasked recipes and section tasks.คุณสมบัติ
1. Culinary education or min. one year experience of cooking & service at restaurant or outlet level is recommended.
2. Commitment to be part of a professional goal oriented restaurant team, and intent to learn and grow in this industry is expected.
3. Be self-motivated, a keen team player and able to work under guided pressure
4. Fledgling knowledge of ingredient functionality and knowledge of kitchen equipment and their functionality is recommended but not needed..
5. Beginner to appropriate command of English
