If you are seeking for challenges and want to develop yourself, join our Bangkok Tools team. We are currently expanding the team within several different products. The team is working together with other teams in USA, India, Germany, Sweden and other countries. Our team is mainly developing software tools intended to configure Alstom’s signaling products. For this position we are looking for someone with test experience that will perform integration testing of our Operator Training Simulator (OTS) product.

**K**ey responsibilities**:

- Perform the integration testing of Operator Training Simulator (OTS).
- Analyze system specification and create test cases to properly test the system functions.
- Prepare test specification.
- Execute test cases, analyze results and identify issues.
- Write test report and non-conformity report.
- Continuously improve the test process by identifying areas for improvement to increase quality and reduce cost and delay.
- Participate in technical meetings with system and sub-system engineers in Bangkok or Pittsburgh (US), as well as on-site project teams in order to:

- define test strategies, test plans and test specifications/procedures
- provide early input of testability aspects to product development.
- analyze test results for troubleshooting and bug fixing
- Automate the manual GUI testing
- Responsible point of contact and the lab maintenance person for the OTS lab in Bangkok
- Out of box thinking as a tester looking for opportunities to break the code

**Education**
- Bachelor of Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information System, Telecommunications or related field.

**Relevant experience required**:

- Experience in analyzing and testing complex engineering software
- Good understanding of software development life cycle
- Experience in setting up common test hardware and installing software.
- Script Languages (Shell utilities)
- Experience with test automation
- English - Effective written and oral communication skills are required
- Autonomous, thorough, team worker, curious, quick learner, communicative
- Optional but good to have ISTQB Foundation Level Tester certification
- Experience working in global projects
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Technical and product domain knowledge within railway signalling systems
