**We offer a variety of internship positions within Aon**

As a **Commercial Risk - Risk & Control Engineering Intern**, you will work with a team of experienced engineers covering Energy (oil, gas & petrochemical), Power (conventional and renewable) & Specialist Property (hotels, offices, automotive, telecommunications, etc.) risks. The team conducts risk surveys & hazard assessment/quantification for insured clients, including loss estimates for insured events (e.g. fire, explosion). They also provide loss prevention advice, covering process safety management and fire detection / protection. Other responsibilities include:

- Understand and appreciate
- Basics of property insurance
- Client’s risk and insurance requirements
- Specialized risk and insurance resources within Aon
- Fire, safety, and process safety management codes
- Data management support for
- Review and compare loss scenarios/estimates for clients
- Compile comparison of recommendations for safety improvement for clients
- Process safety improvement programs
- Risk rating model review

As a **Commercial Risk - Energy & Mining Intern**, you will work with a close team of specialists providing insurance and risk management advice to companies within the oil and gas and mining industry. Other responsibilities include:

- Help to understand and review plans and processes for revenue growth / budgets
- Help the team as they connect with Aon network offices on sales pipelines and map a strategy (and its execution) for key opportunities
- Participate in the process where we are responding to new client enquiries and/or handling renewal of existing placements
- Liaise with other teams to coordinate the delivery of advisory or product line solutions for our clients
- Research, analysis and preparation for marketing and new initiatives eg. energy transition
- Support brokers on placement opportunities, benchmarking and contribute to the analysis and mapping of strategic insurance partners and engagement strategy

As a **Rewards Intern**, your responsibilities include:

- Work with team members to review and analyses data from clients
- Help to conduct analysis to advise clients on the firm’s insights such as compensation positioning and effectiveness of their compensation strategy
- Work with team members to design new studies to drive thought leadership
- Learn on the job and improve understanding of various industries
- Undertake client project delivery and set up of project requirements
- Provide support and guidance to clients where appropriate and necessary
- Deploy assessments and solve queries on assessment system
- Undertake data analysis on assessment data or work with analytics team (in HQ) to interpret assessment data
- Conduct research on key topics (e.g. literature review)

As a **Reinsurance Intern**, you will be rotating across the various departments in Reinsurance Solutions and learn about the respective day to day hands-on work;
- Analytics - both catastrophe modeling and DFA
- Broking - both in different classes of business and territorial markets within the aegis of Singapore hub
- Broking Support
- Client Services

You will also work on client projects and support the teams on day to day work and assist in conducting research for the preparation of projects, reports and presentations.

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate with an expected graduation of the following calendar year
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Business
- Good academic track record
- Involvement in extracurricular activities
