Our Careers and Higher Education department is a core element of our student support services at St Andrews. We seek an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join our team. Our students are highly motivated and engaged, and they thrive in a dynamic learning environment that incorporates diverse teaching methods, service projects, and extracurricular activities.

Inspiring Learning and Development:

- We offer an inclusive education and our students follow a range of pathways to graduation, which includes International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme, International BTEC’s as well as school based programmes. Being flexible and proactive is essential. Previous experience providing specialist counselling support for Oxbridge, Medicine and Ivy League applicants is advantageous.
- Our counsellors plan and deliver events focused on careers and higher education including group sessions, workshops, and presentations for parents and staff. Working in this team you will help maintain communication with university representatives, oversee resources for students, and provide timely and accurate data on school leavers' destinations.
- The ability to demonstrate experience of working in an international school setting, advising students on higher education choices, as a careers adviser or college counsellor.
