The Purpose of Role:
The key job role is to be the R&D Nutrition in Thailand and MCL (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos), partnering with the business:

- First point contact for any country activities that require R&D input
- Responsible and accountable to deliver R&D elements for agreed all innovation/renovation agenda, including saving and simplification plan in the country in close partnership with Cluster Design R&D
- Work closely with collaboration and communication on Brands plans and strategy, as the voice of technology in country team, help identify new trends and technology opportunities

Team Structure:
Reporting to Nutrition R&D Thailand Lead

Key Responsibilities:
The main accountabilities of the R&D Nutrition technologist will cover the following:

- Ensure OTIF delivery of R&D elements of agreed total brand innovation/renovation projects and agreed 5S saving and simplification plans, own innovation agenda together with Marketing and Supply Chain
- ‘Regional projects’ - Deploy product in the market in partnership with Cluster Design R&D
- ‘Local projects’ - Develop and deploy product in line with innovation guidelines
- For 5S saving and simplification - Work with Cluster Design R&D to support Supply Chain/ Procurement in line with plans
- Partner for business maintenance such as ensuring regulatory compliance, issue management, competitor challenges, relevant industry engagement and advocacies, etc.
- Support to Quality and Consumer complaint management
- With Marketing, champion Selling Stories and product activation with consumers and customers to drive relevant growth opportunities of product portfolio

- QA

Travel:
Must go to work at RDC Center (Minburi site)
- Must be open to occasional travel as needed, e.g., MCL countries

Education
- Graduate degree in Food Science and Technology or relevant

Relevant experience:

- At least 2 years working experiences
- Experiences in managing projects with speed and good standard results is ideal
- Good engagement to business teams and cross-functional teams is key.

Additional characteristics:

- Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Have good communication and influencing skills
- Show ability to work in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment

Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

- If able to communicate Burmese language will be preferred
