Reporting directly to the Vice President for Legal & Compliance, Asia-Pacific, the position will manage solution-focused advice across a range of compliance and ethics risk areas impacting the company in Asia-Pacific. In addition, the role will manage internal investigations and compliance training programs for Asia-Pacific, as well as implementing global programs in such region in coordination with Global Compliance organization. In providing compliance support and advice, the role will have significant interaction with regional management and global leaders, including possibility to support cross-regional compliance projects as it may be needed.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As anticipated above, this position will report to the Vice President & General Counsel for Asia-Pacific in coordination with Global Compliance and have the following primary responsibilities:

- Provide solution-focused advice on diverse regulatory and compliance matters in Asia-Pacific, such as anti-corruption, anti-trust, engines emissions compliance, product-based regulations compliance, and any additional compliance areas resulting through applicable legislation
- Provide support for the execution of the Global Compliance function’s strategic plan in Asia-Pacific
- Advise on corporate compliance matters including interpretation of CNH Industrial’s Code of conduct and Company Compliance policies and procedures in coordination with the Global Compliance organization
- Support and manage elements of the company’s Ethics and Compliance program In Asia-Pacific, including the helpline reporting system, conducting and/or provide oversight of internal investigations and policy development and implementation in coordination with the Global Compliance organization.
- Manage Asia-Pacific Compliance and Ethics training programs in coordination with the Global Compliance organization and working with the Global Compliance organization to create meaningful and engaging training content that fosters an ethical workplace
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of developments within legal and compliance risk areas in Asia-Pacific and provide related updates to senior management
- Lead Asia-Pacific Compliance and Ethics Committee meetings in coordination with the Global Compliance organization

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree in Law and is mandatory; bar admission/lawyer qualification is highly appreciated.
- At least 10 years legal experience, in law firms and/or as in-house legal counsel of a multinational group, with direct involvement on the following areas of law: compliance, white collar crimes prevention, internal and external investigations, commercial, corporate, distribution/agency, product liability, litigation, joint ventures, government tenders, antitrust.
- Sound experience in managing, coordinating and coaching a team, with balanced approach between delegating and supervising. Teaming up with other competent departments as appropriate.
- Independent, highly motivated, with excellent skills in drafting, reviewing and providing practical and solution-oriented advice and sound understanding of multi-country/cross-jurisdictional operations and transactions.
- Capability to independently identify key items, flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines; understanding business priorities and needs, addressing them with suitable alternative proposals identifying pros and cons to facilitate informed business decisions. Proactive, quick and pragmatic.
- Well organized, able to efficiently organize the team’s work, with hands-on and cross-functional collaborative attitude; business acumen; solution-orientation; ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Constructively open to discuss different opinions, considers the various matters from different angles and builds consensus proposing ethical solutions in the interest of the company.
- Highly committed to the organization and its success and fully embraces its values and goals for growth.
- Capable to directly and independently manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at high managerial level.
