**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Coordination and preparation of Financial Statements, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly statutory and management reports.
- Act as liaison between Company and external audit firm and government agencies for periodic and ad-hoc audits.
- Actively involved in maintaining and understanding operations of all accounting systems and subsystems interfacing with the general ledger and master data for SAP.
- Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are documented appropriately and according to GAAP and relevant Tax Ruling where appropriate.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement change initiatives in the financial aspects of the Company.
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting policies and procedures.
- Other periodic financial transactions and reporting responsibilities including, but not limited to:

- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and accruals.
- Periodic balance sheet reconciliations.
- P&L analysis
- Tax work papers and refunds.
- Financial and Management reporting
- Budgets and projection models
- Review journal entries, tax work papers and filing.
- Trains and manages accountants.
- Projects as assigned and other duties as required.

***Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership**
- Operates safely within NatureWorks policies, procedures and governmental regulations and fully participates in and champions NatureWorks Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Programs.
- Ensures the EH&S Programs are being followed and provides a safe working environment for our employees and customers.
- Accountable for building a strong safety culture and actively pursues it on a daily basis; identifies unsafe behaviors and conditions and intervenes to mitigate incidents.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Education and Experience Required: _
- 5 - 7 years accounting experience in a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields.
- Sound Knowledge of Thailand accounting standard, Taxation, and relevant ruling.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to uphold internal controls.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Have the ability to investigate problems, find solutions, and determine the best approach to resolve issues. Ability to ask relevant, informed, and intelligent questions about transactions, structures, relationships, and risks.
- Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills throughout all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate strong customer focus and desire to improve processes and find solutions to meet customer needs.
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and handle multiple demands with prioritizing skill.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with Excel, familiarity with accounting and position keeping systems.
- Proficient in various computer programs (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to proactively address issues when considering options to solve problems.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare meaningful reports for the management team.
- Knowledge of financial modeling
- Good command of English both written and spoken.

**PREFERRED**:

- SAP knowledge desired
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing and developing environment. Willingness to take on new responsibilities as our business evolves.
- Process manufacturing experience preferred.
