Our client is a logistics company focused on bringing technology to the road freight market and looking for GM 4PL.
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing the 4PL Accounts and account relationships for Thailand.
- Partnering with 4PL customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Resolving key client issues and complaints.
- Managing the communications between key clients and the internal team.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Designing customized 4PL solutions for clients.
- Managing 4PL Solution Team in Bangkok and Laem Chabang.
- Overseeing the daily 4PL business operations.
- Developing and implementing the 4PL Solutions growth strategies.
- Hiring employees.
- Training the supervisors and staff.
- Creating and managing budgets.
- Working with the regional Tech team to develop.
- Improving the revenue.
- Driving efficiency and productivity improvements.
- Evaluating the performance and productivity.
- Analyzing the accounting and financial data.
- Researching and identifying the growth opportunities.
- Generating reports and giving presentations.
**Experience**:
- Proven ability to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director.
- Proven experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Proven ability to build and lead a highly effective field sales team.
- Strong experience in selling domestic and international road freight.
- A proven and solid network of clients with strong ties to key decision-makers.
- Ability to present at senior levels during the sales cycle and as part of a QBR process.
- Ensure ongoing account management and after-sales service as and when required to your portfolio of clients.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
**Requirements**:
- Preferably possess a degree in logistics or commerce.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas is a must:
- Logistics or freight forwarding environment;
- Land transport (trucking);
- Container haulage.
- Good understanding of trucking operations with industry-leading SLAs and improving operations.
- Experience in solutions design and engineering is a plus.
- Experience in account management is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate a proven record of success in managing and motivating a team in a high growth environment.
