Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT Support to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of an internal server systems and network infrastructure. In this role, you will play a vital part in various key areas of responsibility:
**Responsibilities**:
Conduct system backups, oversee performance, and address system-related glitches
Oversee network with the installation, setup, and monitoring of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to guarantee network connectivity, manage IP address, and resolve fundamental network-related issues
Collaborate with guidance from the Network Administrator, and be responsible for upholding security measures to safeguard the integrity of our network infrastructure. This includes tasks like access control configuration and managing security patches and updates for firmware and operating systems
Support in documentation with the creation and maintenance of technical documents, such as system configurations, network schematics, and troubleshooting protocols
Generate daily reports on system/server performance, network and equipment usage/status
Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, encompassing software updates, hardware substitutions, and migration to new platforms to ensure mínimal disruption to operations through meticulous coordination and testing
Work closely with other IT related parties to facilitate seamless integration and alignment of systems and networks
**Requirements**:
A Bachelor's degree in any IT related field
Hands-on experience in providing IT user support, operating systems, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Exchange, Linux/Unix and Active Directory
Proficient in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication to engaging with end-users and collaborate with various stakeholders
A good team player with time management skills to be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Good Command of English is required to collaborate with international teams
