**Job Description**:
**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Food & Beverage Manager assists the Director of Food & Beverage to manage the overall administration and operation of the F&B Division to ensure maintenance of quality standards, financial performance and profitability, employee performance and guests’ satisfaction
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To have complete knowledge on the food/ beverage/service available in sections appointed
- Ensure that HACCP, Fire & Life Safety Standards are explained to colleague, and are correctly applied
- Monitor and ensure smooth operations
- Effective participation in coordinating and controlling departments
- Conducts regular tours of front and back of F&B operations to check on set-up / service / food quality / general maintenance / cleanliness
- Recommends improvements in all aspects of their appointed sections as appropriate
- Ensure that the employee is equipped with proper working environment / tools / knowledge to enable them to be productive and efficient in their work
- Ensure that quality of food / beverage / service provided are consistently maintained
- Complete relevant tasks assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
- Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Food and Beverage or Rooms Management
- Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of perform and exceed targets
- Accountable and resilient
- Ability to work under pressure
