IT Manager

PRTR’s IT Team is looking for an experienced IT Manager to join one of our international clients based in Bangpli (Samutprakarn). You’ll be supporting the IT Area and laying the IT foundation required. You’ll coordinate with Regional teams to roll out IT initiatives and projects in Thailand.

The purpose of the IT Manager function is responsible for overseeing an organization's technology operations and ensuring that they align with the company's goals and objectives.

**Duties / Responsibilities**
- Leading and managing the IT team: IT Managers are responsible for managing and leading a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
- Ensuring the reliability and security of the organization's technology infrastructure: IT Managers must ensure that the technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks, is reliable and secure.
- Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures: IT Managers are responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective use of technology resources within the organization.
- Managing IT projects: IT Managers oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of IT projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Providing technical support: IT Managers provide technical support to users within the organization, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Maintaining smooth operation and monitoring usage of Data Center, VM Servers, AD, Firewall, SharePoint, O365, Network Devices, and Veeam backup system.SCM, VPN, Communication tools, Internet, and other IT infrastructures.
- Executing system transformation designs. This includes on-premises system consolidation as well as transformation out to cloud structures (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
- Managing the handoff of transformed systems on production on Datacenters; ensuring quality and non-disruptive placement.
- Overseeing all IT functions including Project Management, Infrastructure, Maintenance, Data Security & Protection, Business Process Management, and IT Governance & Risks, Deliver IT services to the business in line with agreed service levels. Manage the incident handling, investigate and solve incidents and problems
- Managing budgets, vendors, contracts, IT assets, and licenses and liaising with both hardware and software vendors to ensure that all concerned to follow the terms of a maintenance agreement.
- Being responsible for establishing and executing a business continuity plan.
- Developing and controlling IT security policy.
- Miscellaneous jobs-related duties as assigned.

**Authorization**
- Described in Company Authorization Matrix, available in Finance Department.
- Analysis and recommendations to solve the problem, ideas for improvement, and cost control.
- Stop or prohibit the work and report to the supervisor when there is any reason to suspect a problem or when safety is at stake.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or IT-related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure operations.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, including network architecture, hardware, software, and cloud computing.
- Technical skill or background VMware, ERP, Cloud platform, AD, AWS, Linux, Cisco Network/VOIP, Dell EMC, SCCM, M365, Sharepoint, server/storage/backup equipment, and DBA are advantages.
- Strong leadership, management skills communication & collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Good English both spoken and written.
- Team working oriented.
