Work at Singapore International School Nonthaburi (Pakkred)
The Gift shop officer reports directly to School Manager in the daily administration and operational matters pertaining to the campus he/she is posted. He/she will be responsible for the daily gift shop tasks, operations inventory, and gift shop sale target in collaboration with the Campus needs besides other miscellaneous tasks.
Greeting customers (Teachers, Parents and Students), take orders, collecting payment, handover money to school cashier, monitor and report weekly and monthly sale report ,inventorying stock, monitor and report weekly and monthly cycle count, ensure optimal inventory turnover against sale and customer’s need, arranging delivery ;if necessary.
Organizational Effectiveness
- Take order
- Packing items by examining items against the order
- Collect payment from customer.
- Record the payment and submit the cash-handover daily report and cash to school cashier.
- Report weekly and monthly sale against the sale target.
- Organizes item orders by editing for classes.
- Inventorying stock by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating delivery requirements; placing and expediting orders.
- Report weekly and monthly unit sale against the sale report.
- Report weekly and monthly cycle count tally with the corporate account team
- Close stock and reconcile order with warehouse every 25 of the month
- Report to School manager to replenish items in store and Issue Purchase Requisition for items to purchase into the campus
- Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item price, availability and answering questions.
- Replaces damaged items, shortages, and misshipments by determining optimal response of replacement.
- Protects organization reputation by keeping pricing, purchase order, and credit-limit information confidential.
Health and Safety Management
- Ensure Fire Safety management and other emergency procedures are carried out in the store.
- Ensure health and safety of staff and stake holders.
