**Position Overview**

Create visual concepts using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, video and corporate reports according to brand identity.

You will work to a brief agreed with Director of Marketing Communications and Director of Sales & Marketing and will develop creative ideas and concepts. The appropriate media and style have to be adapted to meet the media's objectives, whilst ensuring the corporate brand guidelines are adhered to at all time. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.

**The Role**
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts.
- Develop design briefs, pitch and present your creative ideas confidently.
- Plan concepts by studying information and materials.
- Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type font and style and aesthetic concepts, in line with the CHG guidelines.
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
- Amend final designs to the team's comments and gain full approval.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Conduct, coordinate, liaise and take charge of property and promotional photo and video shoot. Ensure photos and videos are in line with CHG guidelines.
- Edit and produce short video clips for social media for F&B and spa promotions.
- Continuously update new promotional artworks on TV screens in public area, guestrooms, limousines, etc.
- Carries out special projects as assigned by DOMC and DOSM.
- Attend daily line-ups and communicate daily challenges with the rest of the team.
- Co-operate with all departments within Capella Bangkok.
- Liaise with paper, printing and other suppliers to deliver an outstanding outcome.
- Be flexible with your tasks within reason; lateral service of all of our associates is expected.
- To maintain the strictest confidentiality on all matters relating to Capella Bangkok plus all other sales and personnel related matters.
- In addition, other duties may be required as directed by DOMC/DOSM and / or General Manager and assigned markets may be changed due to a shift in market developments.
- Proven graphic designing experience with excellent photography, videography and website design skills.
- Knowledge and experience in McIntosh and all software included in Adobe CC.
- Computer skill (word, excel, power point)
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies.
- Has an eye for detail and is precise.
- Highly proficient in all design aspects.
- Professionalism regarding time and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure and able to react fast but calmly in the midst of any co-ordination problems.
- Be passionate and have the drive and determination to meet / exceed set goals.
- Comfortable in dealing with all levels of people.
- Actively participate as a team player to ensure unit cohesion.
- Ability to be assertive.
- Present one-self in an appropriate manner i.e. dress code and personal hygiene.

**Talent Profile**
- Diploma / Degree in Design or Marketing field is preferred
- Proven graphic designing experience with excellent photography, videography and website design skills.
- Computer skill (word, excel, power point)
