**Summary**

The incumbent will be responsible in all design phases from phase 1 to phase 5.

The incumbent also worked closely with the Project Director (if any) to ensure designs are in accordance to the contractual and Client’s agreement.

He/She will also work closely with the FF&E team in collaborating on designs prior to final submission and is required to check and assist in CAD/2D rendering related works if the need arises.

He/she shall assist in mentoring and coaching the intermediate/junior designers.

Your role shall include but not limited to:

- Responsible for the design phases of assigned projects including but not limited to space planning, details and 2D & 3D
- Work closely with the Project Director and FF&E team to ensure designs are in accordance to the contractual and Client’s agreement, prior to final submission
- Work closely with Design, FF&E, and CAD teams on producing full sets of tender & construction drawings
- Check and assist in CAD/2D rendering related works if the need arises
- To ensure project assignments are completed within the given deadline
- To attend site meetings and site/factory inspection
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to coordinate, delegate, give feedback, and mentor subordinates regarding their work and professional development including problem solving

**Pre-Requisites**
- Degree/Diploma in Architectural or Interior Design or equivalent
- Sufficient years of relevant experience especially in conceptual design and detailed designing in the hospitality industries is a must
- Experienced in handling projects in all design phases
- Creativity and artistic flair
- Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching or equivalent
- Able to interpret specifications and layouts, architectural and engineering layouts
- Good knowledge of site work and progress (for senior level, up to phase 5)
- Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures)
- Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and SketchUp will be a plus)
- Compulsory to be proficient in English and Thai - both in reading and writing
- Strong organizational skill and must be a team player
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Highly motivated, strong communication, interpersonal, observation skills
- Mentoring of the junior designers
