Lead Web Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated and engaged team member to work in the dynamic industry of digital marketing and website development. As a key member of our team, you will lead your own web development team and collaborate with account managers, and existing clients on your projects.

What will you do?

Your key responsibility will be to lead the development team, assign projects, and ensure their successful completion. You will take charge of new website projects, collaborating closely with the account manager from the initial briefing to the final delivery of polished websites for our clients. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in building and mentoring your team, guiding them on effective project setup, workflow, and timely project completion.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Developing responsive, standards-compliant websites. (Mostly WordPress)
- Installing, testing, and debugging website issues, and plugins, as well as creating custom plugins as needed.
- Maintaining and updating existing (WordPress) websites.
- Creating custom websites by transforming XD designs into a CMS.
- Evaluating designs, wireframes, and other deliverables for development feasibility, collaborating with designers when necessary.
- Contributing to cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display across major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS, and Android.
- Prototyping functionality for internal and client review.
- Teach, build and grow your team of developers.

**To excel in this role, you should have**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other front-end web design concepts.
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS, including the ability to install, test, and debug plugins.
- Strong UI/UX knowledge.
- The ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
- Team-building, mentoring, and motivational skills.
- Preferred: Backend knowledge.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of site migrations and transfers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a no-nonsense approach.

**Your Profile**:
We are seeking Thai nationals or foreigners already based in Bangkok. You should possess a strong understanding of web design, including element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, and more. Furthermore, you should be ambitious, analytical, creative, and able to translate your creativity into result-oriented ideas.
