Our Client is a world leader in automotive manufacturing, now they are looking for a Senior Buyer to perform lead buying activity for local and global sourcing, negotiation competitive value, supplier benchmark and selection, localization and cost down project.

**Report to**: the Purchasing Manager

**Location**: Rayong

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage overall local and international material/part purchasing activities and relate activities for new model and current model
- Finding possibilities and driving negotiations in order to implement extra cost savings on top of price agreements..
- Perform sourcing process on time, accuracy of document, negotiation competitive price and compliance.
- Driving supply chain optimization activities in close cooperation with suppliers
- Initiating and negotiating product changes and modifications in production phase and participate in Supplier Quality projects.
- Performing purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers.
- Ensuring implementation of contracts and agreements with suppliers
- Forecasting prices evolution and Participate in regional and global strategic sourcing efforts.
- Follow up overall cost reduction budget and action plan to meet target timely.
- Coordinate with Regional or global team in related with purchasing issue.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree or higher in Business, Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in Sourcing/Purchasing/Buying with automotive industry is preferred
- At least 2 years in Procurement, sourcing or develop supplier for direct or production parts.
- Strong team player and the willingness to share best practices and learn from international party.
- Good in communication and presentation in English and ale to flexible working with global team in different time zone..
