Flavourist - Sweet Flavours

PRTR is in partnership with a well-established Flavors and Fragrances Manufacturer in Thailand, they are looking to expand their team with an ambitious and creative Sweet Flavorist.

The company have been growing year after year and is looking to hire the most talented florists who value a family-style working culture and a platform to expand their expertise in flavour creation.

**Summary**

Using creative and artistic talents, a deep scientific understanding of flavour chemistry and a variety of analytical tools to achieve desired flavour profiles that meet the needs of present and potential customers

**Responsibilities**
- Acting as a thought leader and technical advisor to the users of flavours in compliance with applicable global regulatory requirements.
- Leading our trainee flavourist to be autonomous in the creation of flavours.
- Working in collaboration with the evaluation team for the Library selection of best flavours according to final product technical requirements.
- Supporting the optimization of library flavours across categories.
- Leading the technical modifications of flavours according to customer/technical requirements.
- Continuously improving the R&D laboratory, identifying equipment needs, and maintaining a high level of quality standards on the premises.
- Supporting production in the scaling up of flavours.
- Supporting the commercial team in meeting with customers and marketing the existing and new creations.
- Supervising the compounding employee.
- Supporting the Purchasing and Quality team in the evaluation of new ingredients / alternative ingredients for flavour creation/production.

**Qualifications**
- Male or Female.
- Higher education and Diploma in Food Industry with specification Flavour / Junior or Senior flavours.
- Few years of experience in flavour creation, ideally with a specialization in Sweet Flavour.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- An experience abroad would be appreciated.
- Curious and entrepreneurial. Autonomous and self-motivated.
- Advanced use of computer, master of Excel commands.
- Must have eyes on details for accuracy of information when received or sent. Well organized.
- Reliable and trustful.
- Must be proactive and work well within a team.
