This is a Reservoir management Geoscientist position within a Gulf of Thailand (GOT) Central ES team. Oil, gas, and condensate are produced from complex fluvial reservoirs with highly variable reservoir properties in a densely faulted extensional system. GOT operations drill and complete 10-15,000’ deep deviated & horizontal wells in 4-6 days with 3-5 active rigs.

The ES work process is a fast-paced, standardized approach to project development, well planning, and reserves tracking that relies heavily on IT solutions.

This position is an expert in all aspects of development geology/geophysics including:
- Seismic interpretation, Well correlation, Sand-mapping, Reservoir quality- Well planning (including horizontal)- Subsurface structural mapping, Well log interpretation, Stratigraphic correlation- Reservoir quality assessment, analogy-based reserves estimation- Development well planning, well operations, and model-building

Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience- Experience in oil & gas exploration and production or in oil & gas service company is an advantage- Knowledge of GOT extensional & fluvial depositional environment important.- Teamwork: Able to work in cross functional team & perform detailed subsurface assessments. Comfortable making trade-off decisions & working closely with other functions. Demonstrated ability to build team consensus and ability to work effectively and collaboratively in multi-discipline, multi-cultural environment.- Proficient experiences in all aspects of development geology: subsurface structural mapping, petrophysics, stratigraphic correlation, sand-mapping, reservoir quality assessment, analogy-based reserves estimation, development well planning, and well operations.- Communication: Demonstrated ability to convey concepts and objectives in presentations and technical reports.- Digital and Data Science knowledge is a plus.
