Software Engineers

The Alpega Group is looking for a **Software Engineer**. This role will be part of our TMS team. This role is based in **Khon Kaen, Thailand**.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Working as a member of an agile feature-team in designing, coding, and testing new features of our ALPEGA transport-management-system (TMS) cloud platform
- Development of solutions for technically challenging logistics requirements
- Taking ownership of code quality and perform code reviews to ensure maintainable, reliable, and clean code
- Continuous improvement and refactoring of the existing code base to strive for technical excellence
- Implementation of comprehensive automated tests following a behavior-driven development approach

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU**
- Have a good command of **Java**, JUnit, SQL, JavaScript and experience in software development or you have the ambition to develop yourself
- A team player with experience in a collaborative, agile work environment
- Like to learn, are flexible, and have a will to deep dive into an existing code base to further improve our product platform together with your team colleagues
- Familiar with some other technologies we use, such as Oracle DB, Oracle Cloud, Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence), Ansible, GitLab, Selenium, Rest API
- Feel comfortable to work in **English**
- You will be tested in these competences throughout your selection process._
