**OUR VISION FOR THIS ROLE**:
The **Chief Operating Officer (COO)** will be a transformative leader with a proven track record of scaling organizations from **$3M to over $10M in annual revenue while achieving and maintaining gross margins of 55% or more.** This individual will drive operational excellence, improve financial performance, and ensure long-term economic sustainability.

The COO will manage the organization using the **Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework**, ensuring alignment and accountability across all levels. This includes overseeing changes to the accountability chart to reflect evolving operational needs, fostering clarity in roles, and driving collaboration across regions and functions.

**The COO will also oversee organizational systems and infrastructure to support diverse product lines—**including JUMP**Experiences, JUMP Leadership Academy, JUMP Summer, and JUMP EE Framework**. The COO will be**accountable for the staffing and HR functions** to ensure we have an exceptional, resilient, high-performing team. The COO will lead to achieving our ambitious growth targets, enhancing gross margins, and solidifying JUMP as the global leader in experiential education through streamlined processes, optimized resource allocation, and cost-efficiency initiatives.**

**HOW WILL SUCCESS BE MEASURED IN THIS ROLE**:

- **EOS Metric: Ensure 8**0% completion of EOS Rocks and weekly scorecard metrics**.**:

- **Gross Margin Metric**: Maintain a**55% or higher consolidated gross margin** across all product lines.**:

- **Program Delivery Metric: Deliver**200 programs annually** with a program satisfaction rating of**8.5+**:

- **FTE Metric: Maintain a 100% fill rate for approved roles within 60 days of posting.**:

- **Retention Metric: Retain 80% of key staff (full-time and seasonal) annually.**:

- **SOP Metric: Achieve 100% implementation of automated SOPs across all functional areas by Dec 31, 2025.**

**KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY**:
**Operational Leadership & Gross Margin Enhancement**
- Develop scalable systems and SOPs to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
- Drive initiatives to enhance gross margins across all product lines, achieving and maintaining a consolidated gross margin of 55% or more.

**Operational Oversight Through EOS**
- Implement and manage the organization’s strategy using the EOS framework, ensuring alignment with vision, traction, and execution goals.
- Oversee adjustments to the accountability chart to reflect organizational growth, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor EOS metrics to evaluate progress, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement in alignment with core values.

**Global Staffing & HR Leadership**
- Lead HR strategies, including recruitment, retention, performance management, and professional development.
- Oversee staffing systems to ensure timely hiring and resource allocation for regional programs.
- Foster a growth-oriented culture aligned with JUMP’s core values of professionalism, community, and reliability.

**Financial Leadership & Sustainability**
- Collaborate on pricing strategies and revenue mix optimization to enhance gross margins.
- Use financial metrics and KPIs to inform decision-making and ensure financial sustainability.

**Strategic Growth & Program Oversight**
- Support the growth of diverse product lines, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and impact objectives.
- Promote cross-regional collaboration to ensure consistency in program delivery and operational execution.
- Provide strategic frameworks for program teams to design and deliver impactful experiential education experiences.

**Leadership & Team Development**
- Mentor and support regional and functional leaders, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Lead training and development initiatives to prepare teams for growth and operational demands.
- Build organizational capacity through leadership development and succession planning.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE**:

- **Leadership Expertise**: 7+ years in senior management roles, with proven experience scaling organizations from $3M to $15M+ in annual revenue.
- **EOS Expertise**: Strong understanding and experience with the **EOS framework or similar structure (OKRs, Rockefeller Habits, etc)**:

- **Gross Margin Enhancement**: Demonstrated ability to improve and maintain gross margins of 55% or more.
- **Operational Excellence**: Expertise in scalable systems, SOPs, and risk management frameworks for global operations.
