Wood is currently recruiting for a Insulation Supervisor to join the team in Thailand on a contract basis.

This job offers an exciting and technically advanced approach to value added quality control on a wide range of EPC projects.
- Witness installation of insulation on mechanical equipment, piping systems and ducting for 3 PAU modules that house 6 ethylene cracking furnaces being assembled near Sattahip port.
- Witness installation of insulation on piping on 4 pipe racks located at Vatana Phaisal Sattahip module yard.
- Check material grades for verification that what is being installed is correct materials.
- Monitor subcontractor doing installation to verify that sub is building to correct, latest revision of design.
- Generate reports on workmanship, material handling and overall quality.
- Attend insulation witness points generated by Technip and Vatana.
- Cross check that piping or equipment that is being insulated has been properly released for insulation.
- Vocation, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrument or related field
- Minimum 8 years experienced of working in Live Plant, Greenfield and Turnaround / Revamp work for Oil & gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or others similar type of plants
- Extensive track record managing Mechanical / Piping Construction activities within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Considerable experience of supervising Construction staff to achieve effective construction execution
- Good HSES awareness and commitment including skill and knowledge in preparation of Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment
