**Location**: Thailand Office (with potential regional coordination)
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Ledger Management**:
- Oversee and maintain clients' ledgers, ensuring journal entries and reconciliations are accurate.
- Regularly monitor and report on clients' financial statuses, providing actionable insights.
- **Tax Compliance & Reporting**:
- Prepare and submit tax returns (income, VAT, withholding, etc.) on time for clients.
- Stay current on tax regulations and oversee tax audits or inquiries as needed.
- **Financial Reporting & Analysis**:
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for clients.
- Analyze financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and providing strategic insights.
- **Accounts Payable/Receivable Oversight**:
- Manage client accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Proactively resolve outstanding balances as needed.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:
- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and setting financial goals.
- Offer recommendations to improve financial performance and cost management.
- **Team Leadership & Development**:
- Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
- **Internal Controls & Process Improvement**:
- Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard client assets.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Act as the primary financial contact for assigned clients, offering ongoing support and advice.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance and compliance requirements.
- **Audit Coordination**:
- Coordinate external audits and ensure audit readiness, addressing any recommendations.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements for client engagements.
- Implement updates on regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
**Thailand Office-Specific Responsibilities**
- Oversee all financial activities for the Thailand office, including reporting, accounting, tax, audit, and compliance.
- Ensure timely month-end closing with accurate financial records.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and variance analyses for the regional office.
- Manage cash flow and budget control, including projections, payments, and collections.
- Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations.
- Supervise external consultants, such as bookkeepers and auditors.
- Maintain and organize financial records on SharePoint for collaboration and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and financial performance.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with financial statement analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring accounting teams.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills.
