Our Legal Department covering the business area Europe, APAC & MEA is looking for an ambitious Senior Group Legal Counsel to join its team. In this position, you will be based in our office in Bangkok and play a key role in providing legal support to our offices across Asia, Middle East & Africa together with your legal peers with a particular focus on the South East Asia & India markets and Thailand as the regional headquarter and manufacturing hub for Asia. In your role you will also form a part of Electrolux extended leadership team for the region (Asia, Middle East & Africa).
This is a dynamic role, which allows you to put a mark on the business. You have a genuine interest in understanding the business thereby being able to anticipate needs and concerns and work with continuous development. Reporting direct to the VP General Counsel for the business area Europe, APAC & MEA sitting in Europe, you’ll be an integral part of Electrolux Group Legal Affairs who are responsible for protecting Electrolux Group’s interests in all legal matters.
**REGULAR DAY AT WORK**
As Senior Group Legal Counsel, you are expected to act as a legal generalist who is well versed with different legal, commercial and compliance topics. You will act as a professional legal advisor, trusted governance counsellor and reliable business partner providing legal support to various business stakeholders in achieving the Electrolux targets and managing organizational risks. You will be working in a fast-paced and ever-changing business and legal environment. Therefore, you need to be agile, willing to adapt and also capable of driving change. You will negotiate complex agreements, analyze risks and render practical/solutions-oriented advice in a wide variety of matters relating to distribution, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, e-commerce, digital connectivity, product liability, marketing/advertising claims, dispute resolution, consumer experience and compliance / governance topics such as data privacy, anti-bribery and anti-trust. You will work in close cooperation with several business units and other staff from different functions across the organization. As we are a truly international company, you will interact and involve in matters with other legal teams across the world. You will manage contacts with external parties such as law firms and authorities.
You are available for travel to the various Electrolux offices across the region on a need-to basis.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE***
- Be qualified to practice law in Thailand or other common law or civil law jurisdiction in Asia.
- Post qualification experience of around 10-15 years with reputable law firm and as an in-house counsel in multinational company (ideally from home appliances or manufacturing background).
- Must have worked and effectively managed commercial, legal and compliance / governance matters with a regional scope. Exposures to issues in emerging markets such as South East Asia & India (including Thailand as the regional headquarter and manufacturing hub) are essential.
- Experience from working in a direct to consumer or ecommerce environment is desired but not a requirement.
- Fluent in English and one other Asian language. Thai language is a plus.
