Junior Statistician

MMR is an independent, global company specializing in food, drink and consumer packaged goods research. We regularly work with over 50% of the top 100 global food and drink brands. We have offices in London, Oxford, New York, Shanghai, Singapore, Mumbai, Durban, Cali and Sao Paulo and have a team of 700 highly engaged and dynamic research professionals that is multi-disciplinary in nature, covering fields such as data sciences, marketing, insight, R&D, sensory science and psychology.

**The role**:
MMR Data Sciences is a fast-growing area of the business and comprises of about 40 people, including statisticians, analysts, developers and programmers.

We are looking for a highly engaged and motivated Junior Statistician to join our existing team of 10 Statisticians and Data Scientists. This role is based in Bangkok, and you will work closely with one of our existing statisticians in Bangkok and senior statisticians in other regions.

**Requirements**:
**Skills & Experience**:

- **Either a degree or MSc in Statistics or a degree which includes a minimum of 75% statistics (GPA 3.0 or above).**:

- Experience of a range of statistical techniques, ideally including multivariate analysis, experimental design and statistical modelling.
- Highly computer literate with skills in Excel and statistical software (ideally R)
- Good time management & ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A very keen eye for detail
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
