DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationThailand - BangkokThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Work on weekly internal and external reconciliations and settlements with merchants
- Serve as a key contact person responsible for financial related matters raised from the business and related teams
- Perform fund movement reconciliation of credit business on daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Actively follow-up with cross-functional teams regarding the queries and cases
- Summarize debt collection report
- Ensure compliance with regulations while preparing collection letters details
- Ad-hoc data preparation or reconciliation
- Improve existing processes where possible to drive efficiency in terms of reconciliation and reporting process

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business field
- At least 1 - 3 years of working experience in auditing, accounting or finance
- Knowledge of local accounting standards
- Good command of English, both speaking and writing
- Experienced in working with data reconciliation and deal with massive data
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated while being a great team player
- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office. SQL skill would be a plus.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and numerical skills.
- Work well under pressure and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work within tight operational deadlines
