**Position**:Purchasing / SPM (Strategic Procurement Manager) - Aviation Industry

**Job Summary**: The Purchaser/SPM will be responsible for managing procurement activities within the aviation industry. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensuring the timely availability of quality materials and services needed for operational excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives in the aviation sector.
- Identify potential suppliers and build strong relationships to ensure the availability of quality goods and services.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Analyze supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to relevant stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing within the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
