Supervisor Sortation

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily end to end operations of the First-mile, ensuring packages is dispatched in a timely manner. Manage and lead a team of First-mile staff, including manpower planning, training, scheduling, counselling, disciplining and performance evaluation. Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure operation compliance are met. Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Address any discrepancies or errors in the first-mile and implement corrective actions. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on sortation center performance. Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Report operational status and issues to upper management regularly. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Prepare technical reports e.g. EOD report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.

**Job Requirements**
- Requirements/Qualifications(must have):

- Bachelor’s degree in any field. Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or a similar role, preferably in a sortation or distribution center. Ability to manage large groups of people
- Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using Microsoft excel e.g. pivot, lookup
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and long holiday if required.
