Responsible for Corporate Actions; the front-to-back processing.
Operate the corporate actions both Mandatory and Volentary CA event types, whilst the Income process, dividend and coupon processing included the following lifecycle: announcement capture, notification, entitlement calculation, entitlement booking (stock and/or cash), voluntary instruction management, and pay date process such as payable/receivable claim management (stock and/or cash). Also, Voluntary process i.e Proxy Services, covering Extraordinary General Meetings, Annual General Meetings, Special General Meetings (where applicable).
Monitor Corporate Actions news and send to client.
Participate UAT/IWT testing both internal and external as per market requirement.
Ability to work and co-ordinate within the team and stakeholders.
People management.
Ability to manage tasks and clearly understand in all custody functions.
Ability to create a safe environment within the team.
Support the team whenever needed to ensure all custody functions operating in controlled and efficient.
Experience/Exposure.
At least 1-3 years in Custody operations/ Securities broker.
Experience working in Bank or Financial institutions.
Understanding of banking operations and custody operations.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
Education/Qualifications.
Bachelor's Degree in any fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and fluency in English.
Open minded individual who is a self-motivator, energetic and innovative.
Proactive in identifying and escalating issues.
