The Bangkok Post is looking for a self-motivated, energetic person to urgently fill the position of sub-editor.

overseeing the sub-editing and proofing of articles written by
non-native English language speakers across the LIFE section of the
Newspaper and Online.
He or she will also process longer-form copy for LIFE section, and
take on any other subbing duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience writing or sub-editing with an

English-language publication preferred
- Fluent command of the English language. Non-native speakers of
English can apply, but native speakers are preferred
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and under time pressure,

including some anti-social hours
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well within a small, dedicated team
- A strong interest in local news, international news, and current affairs
