The Carpenter & Painter is responsible to repair, maintain and construct wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture and similar items throughout the hotel. The Carpenter & Painter is to provide the highest quality service working in an efficient and thoughtful manner. At all times the highest level of service standards is to be adhered to.
**Qualifications**
- Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute
- At least 2 years operating experience in a hotel engineering department
- Knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Able to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Fluency in Thai to ensure effective communication with superintendent, co-workers and customers
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- A friendly, outgoing behavior, able to involve and support operation
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
