Is a highly effective and innovative team Lead, with experience of leading multiple mobile development Teams. They should be passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

Exhibits a high level of consulting maturity, hands-on technical know-how and has the proven ability to solve customer problems: presenting solutions with conviction.

Is able to clearly articulate complex solutions and advise the PMO team on the smart district platform development specifics and best practices.

**As a Mobile Application Development Lead, here’s what you can do at DDX**
- You will be responsible for managing agile software delivery teams focused on IOS and Android apps and partnering with the various product owners and internal business units.
- You will ensure all mobile app and mobile framework development are utilising modern design patterns and modern technologies.
- You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of mobile technology are delivered.
- You will show a strong risk management mindset relative to managing risk and delivering technical tasks related to the solution e.g. breaks, defects, patches & upgrades
- You will build and maintain relationships with vendor, partner, business, and technology team members.
- You will triage technical issues and lead teams & vendors toward solving problems.
- You will plan team/resource capacity to accommodate demands, testing, and integration/interoperability testing.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Bachelor's degree (ideally, a Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study
- 8+ years of experience on technical Delivery teams and enterprise products.
- 4+ years of managing mobile technical Delivery teams and enterprise products.
- 4+ years of experience as a Mobile Software Developer, as an IT Consultant, or in a related occupation
- Knowledge and experience working with Swift/Kotlin or Java as well as experience in developing custom UI components
- Understanding of modern design patterns used in Swift/Kotlin and Java
- Knowledge and experience using popular build tools, like MAVEN, NPM and Gradle as well as Development Tools (XCode, Android Studio)
- Knowledge and experience in TDD and modern testing frameworks that support it
- Understanding of source control and experience working with modern tools that support it, such as Git
- An extensive working experience and advanced knowledge in server-side web and mocking technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Strong organisational and management skills.

**Desired**
- Understanding and experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Possess a functional orientation, understanding how development work translates to the business end-user.
- Micro-services architecture and cloud computing knowledge.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of mobile security domain and solutions.
- Keen understanding of financial control and budget management.
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals.
