Trainee Broker- Swaps

Job Description

Objectives:
During the training period under probation
- To learn the products of your desk
- To learn the process of routine operations
- To learn the skills of establish relationship with clients
- To help & assist desk member by inputting data when required
- To be competent in keying in prices, analyzing spread machine at a fast pace

Primary objective is to be competent in keying in prices, analyzing spread machine at a fast pace learn how to establish business relationship with ICAP clients and try to make transactions after probation period, other duties may include:
Marketing Aspect:
Responsibility for establishing and maintaining client relationship Responsibility for introducing and promoting Company’s services / products properly

Operational responsibilities:

- Read the relevant market news, reports and closings if applicable, before the start of the day
- Talk to your clients in order to get their interest/orders
- Provide good indicative market levels to clients to best of your knowledge
- Put your client’s order on our reference pages to sound trading interest
- Provide regular price updates on our reference pages to best of your knowledge
- Execute clients’ trades on behalf of ICAP to the best of your abilities and in a professional manner
- Act in the best interest of the client with integrity, due skill, care and diligence in the discharge of your responsibilities
- Observe proper standards of conduct in the discharge of your duties
- Keeping secret of relevant logons or passwords for accessing systems
- Observing your obligations under the relevant money laundering legislation and regulations e.g. reporting of any suspicions of money laundering

**Requirements**:

- A level or Diploma
- Good in Mathematics and with numbers
- Effectively bilingual
- Previous experience in Sales, Financial Services or other service industries (airline, hotel) is an advantage
- Excellent communications skills with a passion for interacting with people
- Outgoing and aggressive personality and success motivated
- Able to work independently and as a team member
- Enjoy working as part of a young and dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
