1. Clean and service all guest rooms as schedules daily, according to the minimum standard.
2. To keep pantry and cleaning equipment neat and tidy.
3. Attend daily briefing to receive up to date information on the daily activities.
4. To ensure all staircases, surrounding work are and relevant public area on own floor are cleaned to standards.
5. Is aware of manual handling and lifting of heavy objects.
6. Handles all amenities, chemicals and operating equipment is a safe manner.
7. Follows correct procedures for all lost and found items
8. Reports all maintenance problems, damaged equipment and missing items immediately to the Supervisor.
9. Ensures all operating equipment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each shift.
10. Stock and maintain housekeeping trolley ensuring adequate supplies are available and the trolley is presentable at all times.
11. Is aware of preventative methods to reduce risks of back injuries in the department.
12. To sign in and be responsible for security keys and be responsible for these on a shift to shift basis.
13. Follows hotel grooming standards.
14. Report any unusual happening on the floors/guestrooms to the supervisor.
15. Assist guest with enquiries and provide accurate information regarding the hotel facilities and features.
