Bromsgrove International School, Thailand, is a well-established co-educational boarding and day school for over 550 students from ages 2 to 18. We now seek a Teacher of Drama (Secondary) who wishes to be part of a professionally dynamic, supportive and forward thinking learning community, in a wonderful Southeast Asian setting.

Drama is part of our very successful Performing & Creative Arts Faculty, which is very prominent across all sections of the school. Our annual school productions, musical ensembles, choirs and Bromsgrove Youth Music Theatre (YMT) have all grown in both quality and student participation over the past few years. Our 520 seat theatre enables our Drama and Music to be fully showcased through regular performances and events.
- Hold a BA Drama/Performing Arts related degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE/GTP/Teach First route)
- Have a minimum of four years teaching experience in the UK or overseas in a British curriculum school
- Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Secondary Drama English National Curriculum
- Have a good ability to use IT to support teaching and learning
- Be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parents
- Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of the staff room
- Be willing to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the Boarding School

**Introduction**

Bromsgrove International School Thailand (BIST) is a privately owned independent institution which uses the name Bromsgrove under license from Bromsgrove School UK. Bromsgrove School in England was established in 1553 and is a top co-educational day and boarding school in the British Midlands.
