**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee activities in the school's swimming pool.
- Explain and enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of students.
- Monitor swimming areas to recognize signs of danger.
- Warn swimmers regarding unsafe situations.
- Maintain order in swimming areas.
- Respond to emergencies and rescue swimmers in danger of drowning.
- Perform first aid procedures.
- Ensure the pool or training area is clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards.
- Maintain records and reports.
- Teach swimming lessons, educate on water safety, and provide lifesaving training sessions.
- Assess students' ability and skill level before setting up swimming lessons.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve technique, stroke placement, speed, and style.
- Use a range of activities to improve water confidence.
- Teach Physical Education to Kindergarten students according to the Cambridge Curriculum, ensuring the highest possible standard of instruction.
- Identify and adopt effective teaching approaches that are suitable for young children, keeping up-to-date with contemporary educational issues.
- Maintain a well-managed classroom environment, ensuring high-quality classroom management.
- Set high expectations for students and tailor teaching approaches and materials to meet their capabilities.
- Keep accurate assessment records, collect relevant data, and monitor student progress effectively.
- Motivate and inspire students to engage in new sports and athletic pursuits.
- Train and coach students in extracurricular sports activities (ECA).
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding their child's learning progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver a diverse and captivating program of physical and sporting activities. This includes organizing inter-school competitions, providing sports leadership training, and implementing healthy lifestyle programs.
