- Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Provide QHSE consultancy support to Senior Managers and local QHSE personnel of the GEA operations.
- Implement and maintain an Integrated Management System for QHSE and Quality in the country.
- Organize and support audits and inspection, manage and support activities during the preparation and ongoing phase of an audit/inspection.
- Perform root-cause-analyze for audit observations/inspection findings, manage and track the corrective and preventive actions as well as coordinate and facilitate the responses to audit/inspection reports.
- Work with the management teams to ensure timely closure of corrective actions arising from audits.
- Undertake ad manage risk assessments ensuring that adequate resources are secured where necessary to ensure risk minimization.
- Injury Management including end to end management of claims and any non-work-related injuries as well as return to work plans.
- Ensure the effective implementation of GEA Group QHSE Polices and Standards within the GEA country operations.
- Facilitate the development and roll out (including delivery) of a range of HSE training & development programs
Your profile and qualifications:
- Degree or Graduate Certificate in OHS
- A minimum of 5 years Health and Safety & Environmental management experience, including experience with Quality obtained within an engineering and/or service environment. Project experience desired.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Health, Safety & Environment and Quality including knowledge regarding the integration of theory and principles with organizational practices.
- Trade or operational background highly desirable
- Knowledge about Regulations and Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO:45001).
- Certified auditor or lead auditor under ISO or similar approvals body.
- Membership within a recognized professional occupational safety and health body is highly desirable.
