Could you be the full-time **Software Developer** **_(ERTMS & ITC Tools)_** **in **Bangkok, Thailand** we’re looking for?

**Your future role**:

- Within D&IS DT&T the ERTMS and Installation, Test & Commissioning (ITC) Tools are designed and implemented by the Software Engineers. Our team is developing software tools intended to install, configure and test Alstom’s onboard signaling products.
- Software Engineering is a key activity to the successful test of the developed target systems and products including subsystem and system testing according to the testing process for the onboard products.
- Software Development is a key activity to the successful development of solutions that create a reliable ERTMS test environment and reliable ITC Tools to satisfy the development, testing, validation, installation and configuration process within Alstom.
- ERTMS & ITC Tools Software Engineers act as an instance for the Homologation Responsible together with the Test Coordinators and have interfaces to Systems Engineering, HW/SW Product Development, Test Engineering and Validation.
- ERTMS & ITC Tools Software Engineers have an interdisciplinary expertise in railway engineering, software development and have testing and system integration skills.
- ERTMS & ITC Tools Software Engineers have an extensive knowledge of system and software development, railway standards (especially EN50128:2011), ERTMS/ETCS technology and working in close collaboration with the Developers and Test Engineers.

**All about you (Qualifications)**:

- **_Good English language skills (both oral and written)._**
- Knowledge of how ERTMS & ITC Tools are built. Understanding how complex systems interact. Knowledge of testing levels.
- Basic knowledge of railway safety systems.
- **Knowledge in Programming Languages C/C++ and scripting languages.**
- **_Knowledge of different operating systems (MS Windows, Linux, VxWorks)._**
- Knowledge in real time systems and hardware programming.
- Knowledge in networks and network programming.
- Understanding how complex systems interact.
- Listening, Analysis, Writing, Interpersonal communication.
- Ability to abstract.
- Team worker, Supportive.
- Basic knowledge of standards are beneficial (EN50128:2011).
